"Cold Calling Books: Top Dog Sales Secrets - Reviews !"

On the look out for cold calling books that will add to your success? Here you can find out (or tell others) about books that do precisely that!

To find out about recommendations just scroll down to the bottom of the page under the heading "What Other Visitors Have Said."

You will find quite a variety of content. The content ranges from "Spin Selling", an excellent book based on research of sales professionals who focus on major accounts selling - to books based on their authors' successes.

One such book is, "eMarketing for the Complex Sale." The subject matter is not directly about cold calling, but the cultivation of the lead and prospect. Another book, "Take the Cold Out of Calling: web search secrets", again, is not directly about the process of making cold calls but the easy identification of ideal prospects.

Each of the cold calling books is important. Each one approaches cold calls from a slightly different angle.

Some readers like to find one author and gobble up everything that person writes. The idea being to get inside of that author's head and approach success with that author's mindset. Other readers prefer to read a broad spectrum of authors and to think of the authors' books as a cadre of personal coaches.

Whatever your approach is to reading cold calling books, I am thankful you have landed on this page and that you are a reader of books. When I was on the road speaking and training, I was both surprised and saddened by the results of our informal surveys. The results showed the vast majority of sales professionals read at most one book a year. The only reason they read that one book is because the company buys the book and requires that it be read.

As odd as this may sound, the only way we know how to think is the way we think. The reading of books challenges our thinking processes. Through that thinking success is born.

Leaders are readers. The sales world needs people like you. Thanks for being a role model!
